1. All Charges are payable in advance.

2. The renter shall drive the vehicle  only while qualified to do so under the law and shall, at all times, drive the vehicle in a careful and skillful manner and in ac— with all         legal requirements and with the terms and conditions of the Owners standard policy of insurance which is available for inspection at the Owners offic—

3. The renter shall not take the vehicle outside Cyprus and shall keep the same at all times in his possession and suctody and shall not allow any other person— the                vehicle, except with the owners prior written consent.

4. The renter shall report any accident involving the vehicle to the owner immediately and also the police or other proper authority and shall assist the owner a— insurers.      The renter shall not, unless with the written consent of the owner, give instructions for any repair to the vehicle or replace any of it’s parts damaged— lost as a result of      the accident. The car must not be moved without the owner consent or police instructions.

5. The renter shall be responsible for the first £ ———- of any loss or damage caused or brought about to the vehicle, either by theft, fire, destruct— otherwise, whether or        not such damage or loss is caused or brought about by my negligence or breach of the Terms and Conditions of Hire, or otherwise, b— not be responsible for any                further loss or damage to the extent to which the owners insurers agree to compensate the owners for the same pursuant to the — policy of insurance. Save as                    aforesaid, the renter shall indemnify the owners against any loss suffered by the owners (including loss resulting from inability— the vehicle or let the same on hire) in        consequence of the destruction, loss or theft of or damage to the vehicle prior to the vehicle being returned to the ow— or prior to the expiration of the period of                  agreement, the renter shall return the vehicle to the owner in as good order and condition as the vehicle was when— by the renter from the owner, leaving the vehicle to      the address of the owners stated in this agreement or at such other address within a radius from the ov— —– miles, therefore, as the owners shall require.

6. The owner shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to make any payment to the renter in respect of or to indemnify the renter against any loss, injurie— damage          sustained by the renter or by any third party as a result of the presence or use of the vehicle or as such a result of any defect therein and in taking— of the vehicle if the      renter shall be deemed to have satisfied himself that it is in all respects roadworthy and in a proper and safe condition, being always u— and agreed that the vehicle is        in the absolute property of the owner and the renter a mere bailee.

7. No relaxation forbearance or indulgence by the owners in enforcing any of the terms and conditions of this agreement shall prejudice or affect the rights a— if the              owners hereunder nor shall any waiver  of any breach operate as a waiver of any subsequent or continuing breach.

8. The said car will be used within the geographical area of Cyprus which is under the full control of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus (or the author— Sovereign        Base Area) and will not be used in areas under the control of the Turkish army or the Turkish – Cypriots, or, in near proximity of such areas. The — undertakes personally      to indemnify and keep harmless the owner in they suffer any loss or damage by reason of breach of the above undertaking.

9. Rental period can be extended only with owners written consent and provided he is given 48 hours notice.

10. No money can be refunded in any event after the signature of this contract.

11. In case of accident caused by the renter’s negligence this contract is automatically terminated and no money can be refunded.

12. The renter agrees:

       a) not to permit any other person to drive the vehicle unless he obtains owner’s written consent.

       b) That no person has physical, mental, vision or hearing defects will be permitted to drive the vehicle.

       c) That the vehicle will not be used, on non asphalted roads to propel or tow any other vehicle, for racing, for speed testing, to carry passengers or goods reward,                      outside Cyprus, in the Turkish occupied areas of Cyprus or for any illegal purposes.

       d) Not to drive the vehicle on flat tyres. In such a case all damages are his responsibility.

       e) That all traffic fines are the renters responsibility.

       f) To drive the vehicle with caution at all times.

       g) To keep the vehicle in good working order checking water, oil, tyres etc.

       h) To deliver the vehicle in the same good condition as when delivered to him.

13. The owner has the right to terminate this contract and take possession of the vehicle at any time if in his absolute discretion he thinks that the hired vehic— is not               handled the proper way.

14.  No person can hire a vehicle if he/she is under 25 unless:

        a) He/she hold a valid licence for more than three years.

        b) Special arrangements have been made for extra insurance cover.

15. If the vehicle is not delivered by the renter on the agreed date, time and place the owner has the right to take possession of the vehicle by any means. If he is unable          to do so he is entitled to declare the vehicle stolen, cancel all insurances and report to the police.

16. The expression “the vehicle” includes all tyres, accessories, tools and other items with which it is equipped and the renter declares that he has checked t—.

17. The hirer shall be responsible for any damage caused to the underpart of the vehicle i.e. engine sump, exhaust, axle, fuel tank, wheels, tyres etc. if the s— vehicle is             not in a direct collision with another vehicle.

       The hirer shall also be responsible for all expenses in towing the vehicle out of sand and or any other location that is not on a road which appears in a recognized               map.

      The hire car is for the sole use of transporting passengers, and for no other reason.

      The owner of the hire car shall have the right at any time during the period of hire to repossess the hire car for inspection. The hirer shall not have the rig to allow any          other person to drive the car. In the event where a third party other than the hirer drives the car then automatically the insurance cover is re— and the hirer becomes            responsible for all damage caused to the vehicle and it’s passengers.
